All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is recruiting for 63 faculty posts. Candidates up to 50 years of age can apply for the roles of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor by November 14, 2025.
The recruitment is mainly for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor roles in the College of Nursing. These posts are open for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and General category candidates. Departments include anesthesiology, emergency medicine, hospital administration, neurosurgery, nuclear medicine, pathology and radiology.
AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Each department has specific qualification requirements. Generally, an MD/MS, DM/MCh, or equivalent degree with a few years of experience is required. Complete information is available in the notification on the official website of AIIMS.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 50 years. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD candidates will get age relaxation as per rules.
Experience: Teaching or professional experience in the medical field may be required.
AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The AIIMS recruitment process consists of two stages:
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of age, degree and experience. If more than 10 valid applications are received for a post, an objective screening test will be conducted.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Permanent Selection Committee of AIIMS. All required documents including degree, experience certificate and ID have to be uploaded online.
AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
General/OBC: Rs 3,000.
EWS/SC/ST: Rs 2,400, which will be refunded after interview for SC/ST candidates. There will be no fee for PwD (Persons with Disabilities). Payment should be made online through UPI, Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.

– Click on the online form link. Enter accurate details including name, degree and experience.

– Take a printout of the form. This will be useful for interviews.

– MBBS/MD/MS/DM/MCh Degree and Marksheet.
– Experience Certificate (if applicable).
-Aadhar Card, PAN Card.
– Passport size photo.

AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Salary Details
The salary structure is as follows:
Assistant Professor: Rs 1,01,500 to Rs 1,67,400 per month.
Associate Professor (Nursing College): Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700 per month.
