All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) AIIMS INICET Admit Card 2026 is ready to release today for the session starting in January.
This admit card will be for those candidates who want to proceed further post graduation courses at AIIMS and some other institutes, and appearing for the Institutes of National Importance Joint Entrance Examination (INI-CET). Candidates can download their admit cards through the official website of AIIMS, aiimsexams.ac.in, for details related to the exam.
Admit card can be obtained from the website only.
How to Download AIIMS INICET Admit Card 2026:
1. For details related to the exam, log in to the official website of AIIMS (aiimsexams.ac.in).
2. Click on AIIMS INICET Admit Card 2026 option on the homepage
3. A pop-up window will open where the candidate has to enter his/her login details.
4. Click on the submit button, after which the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download the admit card.
Details about the exam
AIIMS INICET Examination Scheduled to be held on Sunday, 9 November 2025. According to the AIIMS website, the results will be declared on November 15, 2025. Candidates will have to answer 200 questions in a duration of three hours. There is negative marking for wrong answers, in which one third of the total marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The question paper of this examination is divided into four parts, each of which contains 50 questions. Thus, candidates should ideally take 45 minutes to complete each set of 50 questions.
What is INI-CET exam?
INI-CET, full name of which is Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test, is an examination conducted by AIIMS for admission to postgraduate courses like Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), and Master of Chirurgia (MCh).
The performance of the candidates in these examinations will determine which of the 10 AIIMS they will get admission to. There are 10 AIIMS across India located at Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Nagpur, Raipur and Rishikesh, Bathinda, Bibinagar, along with other institutes like NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGI Kandygarh, JIPMER Puducherry and SCRIMST, Thiruvananthapuram.
All these institutes have started admitting students based on their INICET results from 2021. Earlier all these institutes used to conduct their own examinations for postgraduate admission. INICET exam is conducted twice in an academic year for January and July session.
