Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is enjoying a special phase in her life — both professionally and personally. She is receiving rave reviews for her performance in the web series Heeramandi and has started a new chapter with her long-time boyfriend Siddharth by getting engaged. Aditi and Siddharth announced their engagement in March through a post on Instagram. Aditi wrote in the caption, “She said yes! Engaged.” Siddharth wrote, “She said yes.”

Soon after announcing her engagement, she began working with Hiramandi, followed by attending the Cannes Film Festival as a L’Oreal brand ambassador.
When asked how she is balancing her personal life with the demands of her professional career, the actress said, “By enjoying the present. Laughing together and knowing that we are on the same team no matter what is happening around us.”
Aditi and Siddharth have maintained a tight-lipped about their relationship. The two are believed to have fallen in love with each other on the sets of their film Maha Samudram in 2021. They made their official red carpet debut last year for the screening of the web show Jubilee. Aditi was previously married to actor Satyadeep Mishra, who is married to fashion designer Masaba.
Opening up about her relationship with Sidharth and how it has influenced her work and personal growth, she says, “I respect his immense talent, his honesty and intentions as an artiste and a human being, and I value his integrity. I know he wants the best for me”.
On constitutional success
The actress is overwhelmed with the praise and says, “I am enjoying the present and enjoying everyone’s love.”
She adds, “I am grateful to my director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his artistry and affection. I look forward to more such invaluable experiences that will give me immense appreciation and growth as an artiste.”
When it comes to the most challenging and rewarding aspects of working on Heeramandi, she confesses, “It’s hard for me to talk about my own growth. I’m a director’s actress and I surrender to his vision. I love the challenge and nurturing – that’s my fuel. I love feeling like a fearless kid on set”.
Talking about work, she will next be seen in the film Sherni directed by Kajri Babbar.
“The protagonists of this project are British-Punjabi actress Peggy Sandhu and myself. It is a remarkable story of two women who lived almost a century apart and how their lives influenced the course of history,” she concludes.
