Adele couldn’t hold back her tears after seeing Celine Dion at her Las Vegas residency. The Skyfall singer met the 56-year-old veteran while wandering through the audience at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum Theater on Saturday. A video going viral on social media shows the 36-year-old in an emotional embrace with the My Heart Will Go On hitmaker.
Adele burst into tears when she saw Celine Dion in the audience at her Vegas show
In the now-viral clip, Adele walks through the crowd singing her 2015 hit When We Were Young when she spots Dion sitting in the audience. As soon as she saw her, the Rolling in the Deep singer stopped singing and ran to greet the Canadian singer.

A visibly emotional Adele then hugged Dion, who was sitting with her 14-year-old twin sons Nelson and Eddie. The audience soon jumped with joy after seeing the two icons embracing each other. They also exchanged a few words, with Dion lovingly holding the Hello singer’s hand and kissing it before parting ways.
It took Adele a few minutes to regain her pace as she was still emotional from her meeting with Dion. Wiping tears from her eyes she continued singing. Meanwhile, a separate clip shows the All By Myself singer wiping her face with a tissue while someone next to her consoles her.
A few moments later, the Someone Like You singer returned to the stage to give Dion a proper introduction. “Leave it to Mrs. Celine Dion,” Adele said as the crowd cheered the I’m Alive singer, who rose from her seat and waved to the audience.
