Shatrughan Sinha paid tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee, shared unseen photos and wrote – ‘Will always cherish the memories’

Mumbai Veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On Thursday, Shatrughan Sinha shared a note on his ex and remembered the late leader on his birth anniversary. He wrote, “Bharat Ratna, a true tribute and floral tribute to our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. I will always remember him with gratitude as he was a guide and a father figure to all of us. His oratory skills were unmatched and are missed even today. Will always cherish the memories. Deep respect to his family, well-wishers and supporters. Long live Atalji.”

Shatrughan Sinha also shared three pictures along with this tribute note. In two pictures, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is addressing a huge public meeting, while Shatrughan Sinha is standing next to him. Whereas in the third picture, along with Shatrughan and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, many big leaders including Lal Krishna Advani and his wife Poonam Sinha are seen. All of them are holding each other’s hands and greeting the public meeting.

Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha had remembered ‘The Great Showman’ Raj Kapoor on his birth anniversary through an emotional social media post. Calling him a great source of inspiration, Shatrughan wrote on his ex, “Always in our hearts, remembering you today, ‘The Great Showman’ legend and the best Raj Kapoor, who has always been a source of inspiration for me.”

Shatrughan Sinha also recalled his experience of working with Raj Kapoor in the 1976 action film ‘Khan Dost’. He wrote, “The memories of working together in Khan Dost have been refreshed. You are missed a lot. Deep respect to the Kapoor family. Long live Raj Kapoor!.”

Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi remembered former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the social media platform ‘X’. He wrote, “Respectful tribute to the former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who is in the hearts of the countrymen, on his birth anniversary. He dedicated his entire life to good governance and nation building. He will always be remembered as a strong orator as well as a dynamic poet. His personality, work and leadership will remain a guide for the all-round development of the country.”
