Google has announced a new offer for its users, under which the price of the annual plan of Google AI Pro has been reduced by a huge 50 percent. This offer is for a limited time and only selected users can avail it. With the new price, Google is giving users the opportunity to use all its advanced AI features at a lower cost.
Google has given this information through the official X (earlier Twitter) account of its AI platform Gemini. According to this post, this 50% discount is only for new subscribers. That means, only those users from whose Google account have never purchased Google AI Pro plan will be eligible for this offer.
However, this offer is not available in all countries. Currently it is available in America, but its availability in India has not been confirmed. Also, this offer is valid only till January 15.
What is the new price?
Usually, the 12-month plan of Google AI Pro comes for $199.99 (about ₹ 17,950), but under this offer, new users can buy it for only $99.99 (about ₹ 9,000). It is worth noting that after the offer ends, this plan will be auto-renewed at $239.88 from next year. Therefore, users who do not want to continue the subscription further will have to stop auto-pay in time.
With Google AI Pro subscription, users get advanced features like Gemini 3 Pro AI Model, Deep Research, Nano Banana Pro, Veo 3.1 Fast (Video Generation). Apart from this, access to Gemini AI chatbot is also given in Google Workspace apps. Additionally, users also get 2TB cloud storage for Drive, Photos and Gmail.
Apart from this, a report has claimed that 50% discount is also being given on the annual plans of Google One. Under this offer, the 100GB Basic plan will now be available for $9.99 (about ₹ 900), which was earlier $19.99. At the same time, the 2TB Premium plan is now available for $49.99 (about ₹ 4,490).
