All government and private schools in Gurugram, Haryana (NCR region) have been directed to conduct hybrid classes for students up to class 5. It will depend on the students and their parents whether they attend online or offline classes or not. The Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram announced in an official post on Twitter that the decision has been taken to ensure the health and safety of school children.
As per the guidelines of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), the orders issued on November 13, 2025, regarding hybrid mode classes up to Grade 5 in Gurugram district will remain in effect until further notice, the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram said through the official ‘X’ account. Parents and schools have been advised to strictly follow the instructions and stay updated about further instructions in view of the air quality situation.

Earlier the Delhi government had issued a Directive announcing hybrid classes For all students except class 12th. The decision was taken after the government on Saturday implemented Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) Phase 4, in which all government and private schools in Delhi were directed to remain closed till further notice.
Education Minister Ashish Sood said that heads of all schools have been directed to ensure strict adherence to these instructions and immediately inform parents and guardians about the revised arrangements. Apart from this, all government and private offices in Delhi have been directed to work at 50 per cent capacity, the remaining 50 per cent will work from home.
