Vivo is going to launch its new smartphones Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini in China next week. Even before the launch, the design and many important features of these two phones have been revealed. Now both these devices have also been listed on the website of China’s telecom operator, from which almost complete information about their specifications has been available.
Talking about the display, Vivo S50 has a large 6.59-inch display, while Vivo S50 Pro Mini will have a slightly smaller 6.31-inch display. Both the phones will come with premium design and will be available in different color options. Vivo S50 will be brought in Space Black, Confession, Inspiration Purple and Serene Blue colors, while the Pro Mini variant will come in three colors.
According to the leak, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor will be provided in Vivo S50, while Vivo S50 Pro Mini will get the new and more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The company has already confirmed that flagship level performance will be seen in the Pro Mini variant.
How will be the camera of both?
Both the phones look quite strong in the camera segment also. Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini will have a triple rear camera setup, which will include two 50 megapixel sensors and a third 8MP camera. Both will have a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The special thing is that Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera will also be available in Vivo S50, which will improve zoom photography.
Talking about performance and software, both the phones will work on Android 16 and will come with dual SIM support. Vivo S50 Pro Mini will have LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage and a large 6,500mAh battery, which will support 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging.
Vivo S50 series will be launched in China on December 15. According to the news, Vivo S50 Pro Mini can be launched in the global market with the name Vivo X300 FE, while a phone based on the features of standard Vivo S50 can be launched with the name Vivo V70. Overall, Vivo S50 series can become a strong option for mid and high-end users with its premium design, powerful camera and flagship performance.
