This development underlines Mahindra’s ‘Scream Electric’ campaign. The new version of the BE 6 electric SUV will debut alongside the XEV 9S, which will be covered tomorrow.
Mahindra has said that the first 999 customers will get a chance to have a track day in Chennai, along with accessories like a collector’s box, a special number decal and the buyer’s name on the side profile of the SUV. 2025 Mahindra BE6 Special Edition: Design

Mahindra highlights the BE6 Formula E electric SUV in bold Firestorm Orange colour. The special edition electric SUV gets circular LED projector headlamps, which give a new look to the front end. It gets an aero wing to reduce drag and a lip spoiler on the bootlid to break up the airflow.
To differentiate this special edition from the standard version, Mahindra has modified both the front and rear bumpers. The bodywork of the SUV also includes variant-specific decals.
Coming to the rear, this premium electric SUV comes with a cleaner LED lightbar instead of the previous C-shaped layout. Inside, it is specified with multiple carbon fiber elements on the door trims and elsewhere. There is also special Formula E badging inside the cabin.
What’s more, the 2025 BE 6 Special Edition brings a new aero wheel design, inspired by the 2023 Rall-E concept.
2025 Mahindra BE6 Special Edition: Powertrain
As far as the powertrain is concerned, the new limited edition Mahindra BE6 retains the 79 kWh battery pack. This allows a certified single-charge range of 682 km (MIDC, P1+P2 combined).
Fast-charging support of up to 175 kW is standard across all trims, and the SUV can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in less than 20 minutes using a compatible DC fast charger. This range puts the BE6 ahead of some of its key rivals in the segment.
Along with this, it continues to get rear-wheel drive setup like the standard version. It is worth noting that the Mahindra XEV 9S has a dual-motor layout, which allows an all-wheel-drive system.
