The Odisha government on Monday approved amendments to three service-related rules to streamline the state’s recruitment process, an official said. The decisions were taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, PTI reported.
The three service rules are Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination and Service Rules, 2022 for Group-B and Group-C Specialist Posts; Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination, 2022 for Group-B and Group-C of various State Cadre posts or Service Rules; And Amendments to the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) level or equivalent recruitment examination for specialist posts or service rules, 2022.
The meeting also approved the proposal to present the supplementary budget for 2025-26 during the winter session of the Assembly starting from November 27. The Cabinet endorsed four proposals, including a supplementary budget of about Rs 10,000 crore for the current financial year 2025-26.
The updated rules aim to streamline processes, reduce delays and increase transparency in the selection process for various state cadre and specialist roles. It is expected that the government will soon issue a detailed notification outlining these changes.
This approval represents another step in the Administration’s continuing efforts to enhance governance and improve efficiency in public recruitment systems.
Meanwhile, many candidates are eagerly waiting for the results of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam. Based on the previous SSC exams timeline, it is expected that the CGL Tier 1 2025 Result will be released by the first or second week of December 2025.
All updates regarding SSC CGL Result 2025 can be checked after the declaration on the official website of Staff Selection Commission, ssc.nic.in. The results are expected to be declared soon. The Tier 1 exam was held between September 12 and 26 in 45 shifts. After the exam, SSC released a provisional answer key, and over 1,000 objections were filed against all the question papers combined. SSC CGL result will be declared only after these objections are resolved.
