Apple has updated AppleCare+ in India, Theft and Loss coverage is now available for iPhone. Monthly and annual payment options have also been added, making purchasing easier.
Many benefits are available in Apple Care+.Apple has given a big update to its AppleCare+ protection plan in India. Now the company is also offering Theft and Loss coverage for iPhone in India for the first time. That means if your iPhone is lost or stolen, Apple will replace it with a new one. Along with this, Apple has also added monthly and annual payment options, making it easier than ever for users to purchase these plans.
Apple Care+ is Apple’s official protection plan that goes beyond the normal 1 year warranty and offers features like accidental damage, battery service and priority support. Earlier, only the regular AppleCare+ was available in India, which included damage and battery coverage, but did not have the option of theft or device loss.
Now Apple has expanded it to include such plans which you can take as a month-to-month subscription if you wish. It is not necessary to pay the entire amount at once.
Biggest change: Theft and Loss plan
The new AppleCare+ is the most important update for stolen and lost iPhones. This plan starts at ₹799 per month and offers coverage against theft or loss up to 2 times per year.
If your iPhone gets stolen or you forget it somewhere and can’t find it, Apple gives you a replacement.
This facility is special because till now most of the people in India were dependent on third-party insurance for this.
