At the age of 15, he got a chance to perform in a club in Delhi and got Rs 1,500 as his first fee. Badshah had told that he is a big fan of Shahrukh Khan and after listening to the song of his 1999 film ‘Badshah’, he decided to change his name.
Worked with Honey Singh
Badshah’s career began in 2006 when he performed with fellow rapper Honey Singh. He was seen in Honey Singh’s show ‘Band Mafia Mundeer’. This platform was an opportunity for new singers to enter the music world. He initially sang songs with Honey Singh, although there was always a dispute between Badshah and Honey Singh. Badshah never gave credit to Honey Singh for launching him, due to which there was a dispute between the two.
