Actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to make a comeback in Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s film Varanasi. The actor recently attended the grand title and teaser reveal event in Hyderabad and mesmerized everyone with her beauty. Now Priyanka has shared a video showing this incident through her eyes.

On Monday, Priyanka shared a video on Instagram, which includes some behind-the-scenes moments from the grand Varanasi event. The video begins with Priyanka practicing her Telugu lines for the event and writing her speech to address the audience. He gave a look at his preparations as he was seen wearing a face mask and writing notes for his stage address. In the video, Priyanka can be seen nervous while getting ready for the event with her team. He also admitted that “it is more difficult to speak Telugu in front of a live audience than in film.”
He was also seen practicing his entry and his lines with SS Rajamouli and later explaining his idea to Mahesh Babu. Mahesh and Priyanka can be seen sharing a jovial moment before entering the stage. It seemed like the actor was trying to lighten the atmosphere before addressing the large audience. He said, “I am very happy to come back to my beloved India to do this film.” After his speech, he was seen warmly hugging Namrata Shirodkar and Sitara before taking his seat to watch the teaser of the film. She captioned the video, “Varanasi launch with my eyes.”
During the event, Priyanka praised Prithviraj Sukumaran and revealed that even though he looks awesome as the villain in the film, he is the complete opposite in real life. He thanked Mahesh Babu and his family for making Hyderabad feel like home to him and praised SS Rajamouli as the visionary who took Indian cinema across the world. For the event, Priyanka stunned everyone by wearing a white lehenga choli and made her look like Princess Jasmine.

The film stars Mahesh in the lead role, playing the role of Rudra, Priyanka playing the role of Mandakini and Prithviraj playing the role of the antagonist Kumbha. The teaser showed Mahesh in a fiery avatar riding a bull with a trident in his hand on the streets of Varanasi. Although the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the film, fans are speculating that it is based on time travel. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli confirmed that Mahesh will also be seen as Lord Ram in a scene which took 60 days to shoot.
While the grand launch released the film’s teaser, title and the first look of Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli had released the look of Priyanka as Mandakini on Instagram just a few days before the event. In the poster, Priyanka is shown wearing a yellow saree and fighting with a gun in her hand. The poster impressed fans. Sharing it, the filmmaker wrote, “The woman who redefined Indian cinema on the global stage. Welcome back, desi girl! @priyankachopra. I can’t wait for the world to see your myriad shades of Mandakini. #Globetrotter.”
