Priyanka Chopra channeled her ‘inner goddess’ in an ivory lehenga dress for the Varanasi Globe Trotter event in Hyderabad.
Priyanka Chopra looked gorgeous in an ivory lehenga dress as she entered the Varanasi Globe Trotter event on November 15. The actor was present at the launch of the film’s trailer and first look along with directors SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Later the actor shared pictures of his look on Instagram. Husband Nick Jonas also commented and said how much he liked this look. Commenting on Priyanka’s post, Nick Jonas wrote, “I think I speak for everyone when I say… Oh my God.”
As soon as she reached the event, Priyanka made sure that all eyes were on her. She wore a stunning white lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna, which featured delicate floral motifs and subtle textures. The entire white lehenga set featured delicate ivory and gold crystal and sequin embellishments as well as antique gold metallic embroidery on the border of the lehenga skirt.
While sharing pictures of her look on Instagram on November 16, Priyanka wrote in the caption, “Channeling the goddess within me.”
Priyanka as Mandakini
A few days ago, Rajamouli released a poster of Priyanka as Mandakini from the film on social media. Sharing it, he wrote, “The woman who redefined Indian cinema on the global stage. Welcome back, desi girl! @priyankachopra. Can’t wait for the world to see the myriad colors of your galaxy. #Globetrotter.”
Varanasi is SS Rajamouli’s next film after the 2022 hit RRR, which took the world by storm. It stars Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is scheduled for release in 2027.
