On November 13, the 21-year-old actor attended the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere in London. For the outing, Millie Bobby chose a design from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2025 couture collection.
The 21-year-old actor was striking a pose in her stunning boudoir-inspired dress on Thursday when she suddenly stopped and glared at the photographers, prompting one to shout to her, “Smile!”
“Smile? You smile!” The Netflix star immediately responded by pointing towards the group of photographers. She screamed before turning away and getting off the carpet.
The tense interaction was caught on camera and quickly went viral on social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans.
“Mili got mad at the photographers and left the carpet… ok Chappelle Rhone,” one social media user wrote on Twitter, referring to the singer.
“Go girl don’t give us anything,” another social media user said.
But many others came to her defense, and commended the Emmy nominee for standing up for herself and making the comment.
“Ohhh diva she’s taking it!! I love this era of hers,” one posted, while another said, “It’s really weird being asked to smile by a man. #gomiley”.

“He has that mother’s anger in him!!” Another quipped, since Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, recently adopted a baby girl. A representative for Millie Bobby has not commented on the viral clip.

Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1 will premiere on November 26 at 8pm ET on Netflix, followed by Volume 2 on December 25 and the finale on December 31.
