In a candid new conversation with GQ, Hailey got real about life as a new mom — and whether she’s thinking about baby number two. When asked what surprised her most about motherhood, she admitted that no amount of advice could have prepared her for the experience.
“I don’t think there’s anything anyone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, prepare you until you do it yourself,” Haley said. “But I feel a lot more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how unprepared I felt doing it the first time. And I think personally, for me, there’s a lot of unknowns, but so much happens and so many changes and you evolve in completely different ways that you can never prepare for unless you do it.”

From runway to nursery
Born in Tucson, Arizona, to actor Stephen Baldwin and graphic designer Kenya Deodato Baldwin, Hailey grew up in Nyack, New York, and described her childhood as “happy”. She signed with Ford Models at just 17 and moved to New York City – a world she remembers as filled with “a lot of adult people who are doing much bigger things”.
A high-profile turn in her life came when she began dating Justin Bieber in late 2010 after years of on-and-off friendship. The two made headlines in September 2018 when they quietly got married in a civil ceremony in New York City.
