Following the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on a petition, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has now activated the official portal for corrections in the application form. Candidates can now edit their personal information, category and socio-economic criteria score through the Haryana CET 2025 correction window.
The official notice read, “In compliance with the order of the Hon’ble High Court in CWP No. 17581 of 2025 dated 01.07.2025 in Sheetal and Others vs. State of Haryana and Others, the Commission has decided to launch the correction portal for CET Group-C 2025 examination, which was held on 26.07.2025 and 27.07.2025.”
The CET exam for recruitment to over 32,000 Group C posts was held on July 26 and 27, 2025, in which over 1.2 million candidates appeared. Even minor errors in the documents or form can disqualify the candidate from the selection process. The correction window will be open from October 17 to October 24, 2025, after which requests for additional time or offline correction will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to visit the official website onetimeregn.harana.gov.in for details.
This correction window is mainly for those candidates who:
1. Change their category, especially general category candidates residing in Haryana who now want to avail benefits under reserved categories (like SC/BC/EWS).
2. Correct errors in claiming five additional marks under ‘No Job’ or other criteria.
3. Correct the errors in uploading the required certificates (like caste certificate, residence certificate) during form submission.
Accuracy in application forms is important in any government job recruitment process, especially for Haryana CET, where there is minimal margin of error with regard to claiming socio-economic criteria scores. Many candidates, hastily or unknowingly, select the wrong category or fail to claim additional marks despite being eligible under the “No Job” criteria. This reform portal aims to address such issues.
Candidates wishing to change their category must have a valid certificate issued before the extended cut-off date of June 14, 2025. It is mandatory to upload valid documents supporting any online correction. After making the corrections, candidates should check their forms thoroughly and take a print out of them for future reference.
