Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to release the date of Maharashtra Board Examination soon. The timetable will be released in PDF format, the details of the subject-wise and shift-wise schedule will be given.
Once issued, students appearing for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC/Class 10) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Class 12) exam in 2026 can check the timetable through MSBSHSE’s official website on mahahsscboard.in.
Expected exam date
The examination form-filling process for class 10 started on 15 September and is ready to end on 6 October 2025. whereas while, Class 12 exam The form submission process started on 1 October and will end on October 20, 2025.
Based on previous years, the class 10 or SSC exam is expected to begin on February 16, 2026, while the class 12 or HSC exam is expected to begin on February 9, 2026, with a few days of minor changes.
The exam usually ends within a month from the date of starting, as the leaves of the study are stalled between the exam dates.
How to check the timetable?
Once released for timetable Qualified student Related classes (either SSC or HSC), they can check the timetable by following the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official Maharashtra Board website – mahahscond.in.
Step 2: Navigate through homepage and click on the ‘Latest News’ section.
Step 3: SSC or HSC timetable link will be available on that page. Click on the link to download PDF.
Step 4: Once open the file, save it on your device.
Step 5: Take a printout for future reference.
Date sheets of other boards – CBSE, ICSE and ISC
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already released a temporary date sheet for class 10 and 12 board examinations for the year 2026. The CBSE board exam will start on February 17, 2026. Class 10 exam will continue till March 9, 2026, while class 12 exam will run till April 9, 2026.
For the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the council is also expected to release ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examination timetable for 2026. Students can download PDF from the official website cisce.org.
