Deepak Tijori was born on 28 August 1961 in Mumbai. His family was originally from Mehsana in Gujarat. His great -grandfather used to work to make chests, that is why Deepak’s surname fell ‘Tijoriwala’, which became ‘vault’ with time. Deepak Tijori’s father was Gujarati Vaishnav and mother Parsi Irani. The mother was fond of working in films, but her dream remained incomplete due to the family being conservative. However, he always encouraged his son Deepak to enter the acting world.

Deepak studied at Narsi Monji College in Mumbai, from where he was deeply interested in acting. During college days, he joined the theater group and here he met many artists like Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Paresh Rawal, who later became big names. In college, Deepak used to play the role of a hero in every play and he was confident that he would get a chance to become a hero in films as soon as he got out of college, but his thinking was shocked as soon as he stepped into the real world.

As soon as the college was over, when Deepak started working in films, he understood that it is not easy to move forward without any identity here. The financial condition of the house was also not good. The father’s income was limited and the family had the responsibility of the family on his elder brother’s shoulders. In such a situation, Deepak started working on the front desk at Bandra’s hotel at night, so that he could go to the office of film studios and producers during the day. Gradually, Deepak started getting small modeling assignments and then one day he received a call from actor Avatar Gill. He told that Mahesh Bhatt is looking for him. In superhit films like ‘Sadak’, ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi’, ‘Khiladi’, ‘Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander’, ‘Kabhi Yes Kabhi Na’, and ‘Anjam’ worked as a co-actor. His roles in these films are still remembered.

Deepak Tijori got work as a lead actor in the film ‘Pahil Nasha’ released in August 1993 after continuously doing friends or side rolls in films. In the film, names like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were also in guest appearances. Despite a good starcast, the film flopped at the box office. With this, Deepak’s desire to become the lead actress became blurred, but he did not give up. Moving out of acting, he also tried his luck in film direction.

In 2003, Deepak started becoming a director with the film ‘Oms’. However, the film had to face a lot of criticism due to its bold content. The film was incorrectly publicized and was given the tag of an adult film, while it was an emotional story according to Deepak. Later she directed films like ‘Tom Dick and Harry’, ‘Silence: Ek Raat’ and ‘Fox’, but she could not do anything special commercially.

Deepak also tried his hand in the TV industry and produced shows like ‘Saturday suspense’, ‘Thriller et 10 Fareb’, and ‘Dial 100’. These shows remained the award winning, but when the mother-in-law’s era started on TV, they separated themselves from there. Deepak decided to return to the camera again. He played the role of middle age lover in films like ‘Astra’. Although he did not receive any major award, his struggle and acting still inspire cinematographers.

It is said that after about two decades of marriage, Deepak came to know that his wife Shivani Tomar is not legally his wife. There was news in the media that Shivani expelled him from his house.
