As the father of two General Z daughters, I often tell people that the General Z Factory Line should be one of the most unique people. There are moments when I do not understand the argument behind their actions or motivations. However, as an entrepreneur, understanding gene Z is more required than interest or curiosity. As a business, if we want this generation to be interested in products or services we are selling; Learning related to them and related to this group is more important than ever.
General Z is generally accepted as a true digital native generation. He never knew a world without a smartphone and grew up with access to the Internet. He has never experienced a lack of information; Rather, he had to face a heavy surplus. His skill in using and using this information is what we all should learn to develop. Here is a list of things that I want to learn and get from this generation and believe that all leaders in their respective fields can be helpful.
- Digital flow and adaptability: General Z grew up with omnipresent internet and portable digital technology and hence is naturally technically literate. They use technology for connectivity and quick reforms, easily run between offline and online locations. Their technical proficiency enables them to easily bring them into technology-capable promotion.
What do I want to achieve: am I able to be digitally intelligent and versatile? There are platforms, such as discord, that I am still trying to understand. Although I have slowly tried tools like Notebook LLM, but it is a generation agility to adapt to digital spaces that I dream of acquiring. I want to get their thinking of fast adoption and exploration, moving beyond my initial reservation about new technology.
- Entrepreneur mind and goal-powered nature: General Z is usually known as entrepreneurship, independent, ambitious and extremely target-driven. They are usually early birds that pursue the opportunities to earn and learn at the same time, and have excellent clarity about their professional ambitions.
What I want to learn: I have a grit in my generation, but it is as if a natural goal in Jean Z is focus and clarity that I am in awe. How do I bring the same intense attention and clear sense of direction for my efforts, in a clear direction beyond ambiguity?
- Value-run and socially aware: This generation strongly believes in authenticity, inclusiveness and transparency. After seeing some vast social and environmental challenges in his lifetime, they are extremely aware of sustainable practices. They prefer out organizations that openly advocate and practiced socially responsible business models and are politically engaged, taking advantage of the use of the Internet for activism to fight for issues that they care.
I aspire to learn: This generation teaches me that the purpose is not just a word; This is a lens through which they see the world. I want to learn how to better infect the values in all our decisions so that our organizational work really reflects our declared principles and only walk beyond the real, effective practices beyond words.
- Development and response are required: General Z is the growth of the careers of values and actively looks for employers who work as patrons and coaches, provide them with new experiences and competencies. General Z is hungry for continuous and immediate reaction, it is used to immediately like and comment from their social media experiences.
What I want to learn: Their desire for development and quick response is contagious. I would like to learn to welcome my work and in my teams constantly, quick response cycles. It creates a culture where the reaction is not only to bear and obtained, but is highly encouraged, reflecting the recurrence “working prototype” mentality that they easily embrace.
- Practical and realistic: Despite their optimism, General Z is often described as intelligent and practical, often described as fact-zancha information before making decisions. They value financial security, with many savings for future expenditure, such as buying or retirement, a mentality stems from potentially challenging economic time.
What I would like to learn: this practicality is an essential anchor. I would like to learn how to combine this practicality with your experience so that the innovation is reality-based and decision-making data-operated, much like their instinct motivates them to verify the facts before taking action.
- Preference for flexibility and work-life balance: General Z appreciates flexible flexible work programs, telecom opportunities and a solid task-life balance. They want to spend most of their time outside their time to enjoy and travel.
What I would like to learn: His clear priority of welfare and interests is against the traditional work paradigms. I would like to learn how to apply this focus in your entrepreneurial life and with flexibility and balance in your company. Well to know that the adaptation of non -work time actually produces more productivity and creativity during working hours.
- Being real, not only right: In the stages of my career, professionalism was not a perfect front, no doubt, there was no thick edge. Nowadays young professionals show their weaknesses more openly, their questions and even their weaknesses. And they are equally effective. Often more effective because they are not hiding behind roles or expectations. They raise their voice, question things, and work with themselves.
What I want to learn: I am learning that authenticity does not give leadership water, it makes it strong. I want to embrace that openness, making a place where vulnerability is strength, to create deep faith and more authentic cooperation.
- Learning a new language of connections: From reels and memes to emozis and summarization, General Z communication is quick, multi -layered and developed. I do not have to speak in the same way, but I need to learn, because it is how culture goes on today. Whether it is for internal dialogue or for the manufacture of a brand, the tone and texture of communication is shifting.
What would I like to know: Being connected is getting eager about these new paradigms of communication. I allow better and more meaningful communication in every field of my business, want to read and enjoy this new language.
- How we create construction and design: Design guidelines that I learned in my early life were all about perfection and stability. General Z is different; They work in real time, test rapidly, and develop quickly. Meditation is low on hierarchy and more on cooperation.
What I want to learn: I am impressed by how infallible they are about the rapid response cycle and constant recurrence. Not only in applications such as Figma or Miro, but also to absorb the mindset. I want to learn how to appreciate this loyalty, rapidly prototyping and renounce continuous refinement for single, ideal answer.
- Speaking without any hesitation: Many of us were taught to ‘acquire’ our voice over time. But this generation does not wait. They often ask ‘why’ they question the decisions, and they expect clarity. First, it can feel like pushbacks. But often, this is actually engagement.
What I hope to learn: I am learning to listen more effectively, rather than opposed, to get questions as interest. And to create more space for open discussion, even (and especially) when it disrupts the status quo. I hope to know how to build a culture where honest, curious communication is standard, makes every voice completely empowered.
- Aligning work with values: Mission is not a jean z slogan. It is a lens through which they see everything, from businesses they work for the work they do. They want their work to be more than commercial results.
What I want to do: This is a good reminder for all of us. Impact and development should not be mutually exclusively exclusive targets. I want to develop an organization that does not have statements on the price wall, but in action, which are inspired by the real purpose.
- Now to highlight what is not: the biggest lesson, perhaps, is opening to unlisling. A lot of perceptions that worked for us earlier, hierarchy, on the deadline, even the definition of success should be re -examined. And I think this generation is more inclined to do it.
What I want to learn: for me, unlisling is more work. But this should be done. It keeps us present, earth and receptive. I want to nurture their natural tendency to question the norms and easily unknown, so I am also flexible and creative in a changing world.
General Z can be understood not only a population for commercial purposes; They are strong teachers who provide new insight into work, values and life in general. By adopting their positivity, we can all learn and enrich within this new time. Adopting General Z criteria is like adding more tastes in our leadership styles and life.
