Dubai’s prestigious Burj Khalifa was illuminated in the colors of the Indian flag on Monday, August 15, as part of the ceremony marking the 79th anniversary of India’s independence.
At exactly 7:50 pm, the tricolor burnt the world’s tallest building, causing a large crowd that gathered to watch patriotism.
In a video occupying the moment, the Indian flag was shown below the length of the facade of the skyscraper, a vision that attracted cheers from the crowd.
The annual tradition of introducing the Indian seer on the Burj Khalifa has become a symbolic gesture of friendship between India and the United Arab Emirates. This year’s performance was no exception, serving as a poignant reminder of a visit to India since achieving independence in 1947.
Earlier in the day, a flag-hosting ceremony was held at the Indian Consulate in Dubai. During the incident, the Consol General praised India’s progress in major areas. He highlighted significant progress in governance, development of strong digital public infrastructure and progress in space exploration.
The Consul General also accepted the growing empowerment of women across the country and the increasing self -sufficiency of India in the defense sector, seen these achievements as the central sight of the nation for the future.
India’s Independence Day celebrations are seen proudly by millions of Indians around the world. Burj Khalifa tribute is in the form of a powerful visual representation of India’s permanent spirit and its growing presence on the world stage.
