State General Education Minister V Shivkutty said on Wednesday that children will get “Grace Marx” for the cultivation of children in state-driven schools in Kerala.

“Grace Marx will be provided with the next academic year to children who are engaged in activities promoting reading habits,” said Shivkutty.
For students of one to four grade, the weekly sessions will focus on appropriate reading activities, while students in grade five to twelve grade will have similar sessions associated with newspapers and other follow -up exercises, he said.
Teachers will receive training, and will be ready to guide the activities related to reading a handbook.
The Department of Education has also considered a read-centric section in “Kalolsavam”, including the annual school art festival, the Minister.
