At the same time, in terms of flight booking, UAE, Thailand including Singapore, Indonesia, Maldives, America, Nepal, UK, Canada and Vietnam are on top outbound. This year, compared to earlier, there is an increase in bookings for Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Kazakhstan.

Similarly, people are finding it better to travel by air to visit many tourist places in the country. This is the reason why flight bookings for Kochi, Srinagar, Goa and Bagdogra have increased at the end of the year. At the same time, among religious places, bookings have increased for Shirdi and Tirupati.

Subhash Goyal, Chairman, Travel and Tourism Committee, Indian Chambers of Commerce, said that the booking can be gauged from the fact that people are traveling to international tourist places like UAE, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Bali, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and Istanbul.
