India saw it as Pakistan’s anti-India campaign and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh did not sign this document in the meeting of SCO Defense Ministers. This was the reason that the meeting ended without joint statement.
Diplomatic success in BRICS
In view of the stance of China and Russia in the SCO, the absence of Pahalgam attack was considered to be India’s diplomatic failure, but it is clear to mention Pahalgam as a terrorist attack in BRICS that India’s diplomacy has been a hit here. The release of a joint manifesto in the presence of China means that China changed its stand and it is also believing that what happened in Pahalgam was a terrorist conspiracy.
