The offer of a much -awaited woman Electric from Maruti Suzuki has been delayed for launch in the Indian market. This will be the second major delay for E Vitara, which opens Maruti for the promising new electric vehicle segment. The company’s first electricity offer is long awaited, and the global models will be built in Sanand, Suzuki’s manufacturing facility in Gujarat with employed exports to Europe and Japan. In particular, E Vitara was recently sent to Nexa dealership, pointing to an adjacent launch in May this year.
It is not clear that the production track for the new e -vitara for global markets is on the production track to begin in May. The automaker has clarified that a large part of the volume will be reserved for exports, with limited numbers for domestic sales. Delay E Vitara’s badge – Engineer cousin brother – can also affect the arrival of Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, which was also shown in India Mobility 2025.

The new E Vitara will arrive in India with a single electric motor that will be available with two battery pack options. The SUV will be offered with a 49 kWh battery with 142 bhp on the proposal, and 61 kWh battery pack with 172 bhp on the offer. The peak torque output will remain the same at 192.5 Nm. The E Vitara will be able to sprinkle at 9.6 seconds on the 49 kwh version in 0–100 kmh to 9.6 seconds, while the more powerful 61 kwh version drops it to 8.7 seconds. The top speed is the same at a distance of 150 kmph.

Maruti has yet to reveal the border for India, but the E-SUV promises 346 km (WLTP) (WLTP) (WLTP) on the same charge on the 49 kW version and 428 km (WLTP) on the 61 kW version for international markets.
