Rolls-Royce has introduced its first electric car Specter in India. Its price starts at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive electric car in the market. The electric two-door coupe had its global premiere in 2022.
The 2,890 kg Rolls-Royce Specter runs on a 102 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 530 km (WLTP cycle) on a full charge. With dual electric motors – one on each axle – producing 577 bhp and 900 Nm of peak torque, the Specter accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

Features of Rolls-Royce Specter
1. The Rolls-Royce Specter is built on the brand’s all-aluminium spaceframe architecture, which shares the foundation with models like the Phantom, Ghost and Cullinan.
2. Visually, the Specter retains the iconic Rolls-Royce design, including split headlamps that pay homage to the Phantom Coupe.
3. The car features ultra-slim LED daytime running lights (DRLs) located above the headlamps, coupled with a gently sloping roofline and a distinctive shoulder line inspired by boats.

4. The Specter’s interior exudes opulence, with meticulous detailing including the Starlight liner in the door pads and roof. The illuminated Specter nameplate on the dashboard features more than 5,500 star-like lights.
5. The Specter is equipped with four-wheel steering for better maneuverability and maneuverability on the road.
6. Rolls-Royce introduces completely new seats enhancing comfort and luxury.
7. The Specter is equipped with the new ‘Spirit’ software platform, which is a digital interface with connected car technology. This platform offers special services, including customizable options for dial colors.
8. With 30% stiffer body, Specter improves structural rigidity.

In 2023, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars achieved a historic feat by introducing a record-breaking number of luxury vehicles, including the Spectre.
The company delivered 6,032 cars globally, the highest figure in its 119-year history. The United States emerges as the top market for Rolls-Royce in 2023, followed by China.
