Jhansi Tourism: Religious tourism is now getting promoted in Jhansi. The state government has decided to develop 3 major tourist destinations of the district so that more and more tourists can be attracted. The government has approved an amount of more than Rs 2.29 crore, applying on the proposal sent by the legislators. The state government is running a participation scheme to develop tourist places, for which proposals are sought from public representatives and public.
These temples will be developed
Sadar MLA Ravi Sharma had sent a proposal for the development of the birthplace of Maharma Vishwamitra located near the river Dhasan in village Gudha, which has been approved by Mankameshwar and Radhakrishna Temple, Upali Rajgrih Buddhavihar and Garutha MLA Jawaharlal Rajput located in Laharnagar, Upali Rajgriha Buddhavihar and Garutha MLA Jawaharlal Rajput, which has been approved. Regional Tourism Officer Kirti said that Rs 75.48 lakh has been sanctioned for Mankameshwar and Radhakrishna Temple, Rs 73 lakh for Upali Rajgriha Buddha Bihar and Rs 80.84 lakh for the development of Dhasan river in village Gudha. The responsibility of these works has been entrusted to Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited. He informed that on the completion of these projects, the number of tourists in the district will increase.

Passenger sheds, LED solar lights, toilet, signage, dustbin and stone benches will be installed in Mankameshwar temple. Vipassana Hall, Stone Bench, Cosmetics, Signage, Dustbin and Solar Lite will be installed in Upal Rajgriha Buddha Bihar. Passenger sheds, interlocking, LED solar lights, toiletics, signage, dustbins and stone benches will be built on the Dhasan river in village Gudha. Regional Tourism Officer Kirti said that along with Jhansi Shaurya, there is a religious city. There are many ancient temples here and now these temples will also be developed as a tourist destination.
