Citroen will join Bandwagan of car manufacturers launching special versions in India in recent times.
Citroen C3, Basalt and Aircross models are all set to get dark edition treatment when special version recurrences of all three cars are launched on April 10. The French Auto giant has already teased C3 Dark Edition, Basalt Dark Edition and Aercross Dark Edition model on its social media channel, which makes us look like a special edition.
Several carmaker in India, including Tata Motors and Mahindra, has launched its special edition cars in the last few weeks. With the dark edition model, Citroen is also ready to join the bandwagan. When it comes to pricing, expect special versions of C3, Basalt and Aircross Recruitment 30,000 – 40,000, on related regular versions.

The C3 Dark Edition, Basalt Dark Edition and Aercross Dark Edition will come wearing an all-black theme on the outer, which will be distinguished by the standard model. Apart from this, there will also be silver skid plates, dual-tone alloy wheels and special dark edition badges. Inside the cabin, the three special version models will sports an all-black theme, which complement the outer color. These special versions are found to be red stitches unlike seats and upholstery of Citroen cars, which add them sporty and visual appeal. Citroen is likely to offer certain goods to create the upcoming dark edition cars that will increase the cosmetic appeal of the special version model.
On the Paurtrain front, all three upcoming special versions are expected to be similar to the Citroen C3, Basalt and Aercross of their standard counterparts. In that case, the engine and transmission option will remain unchanged for all three models. Power and torque output will also remain unchanged.
