JEE Main 2025 Paper Analysis Day 3: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is currently operating the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 for BE/B.Tech and B.Tech and B.Tech and B.Planning courses from 2 to 9 April. Today, April 4, 2025, Examination Day 3, JEE Main 2025 are being organized for BE/B.TECH courses for Session 2. The first innings took place from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second innings was scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.
JEE Main 2025 Session Paper Analysis Shift 1
The JEE main paper held on 4 April 2025 (Morning Shift) was moderate in overall difficulty. The paper was well structured and error-free, allowing students to make comfortable efforts. Among the three volumes, Physics and Chemistry were easy to moderate, while mathematics was the most challenging. The question was balanced in distribution subjects.
Physics
With a strong emphasis on numerical and formula-based questions, the physics section was moderate to moderate. Major themes such as mechanics, modern physics, electrostatics, optics and units and measurements were well represented. However, AC and magnetism, rotation and EMI had fewer questions. While some questions were about to take time, most were straight, making this section a high scoring opportunity.
chemistry
Chemistry section was also easier to moderate. It had many statement-based questions, which were easy to do and score straight forward. Almost all the chapters were covered, but had the highest weightage in inorganic chemistry, while physical and organic chemistry was represented marginally. Most theoretical questions were directly from NCERT, and had less numerical questions in physical chemistry.
Mathematics
Mathematics with well distributed questions in various subjects was barely difficult. Matriss, 3D geometry, vectors and coniferous classes had significant weightage, while calculus had comparatively less questions. Some problems were long and taking time, causing time management to become an important factor in this section.
The difficulty level of JEE Main 2024 April 4 Shift 1 Exam was as follows: Mathematics was the most challenging, followed by Physics, Chemistry relatively easy segment.
JEE Main 2025 Session Paper Analysis Shift 2
The evening shift exam was moderate in overall difficulty. It was well structured and balanced, covering all chapters equally. Among the three volumes, Physics and Chemistry were easy to moderate, while mathematics was the most challenging due to some long, calculation-intensity questions. The question was well balanced in distribution subjects.
Physics
Physics section was easy, with a strong emphasis on numerical and formula-based questions. All major subjects including mechanics, modern physics, electrostatics, optics and units and measurements were well represented. While some questions were about to take time, most were straight and high scoring.
chemistry
Chemistry section was moderate to moderate, with many statement-based questions that were easy to score. Almost all chapters were covered, in which inorganic, physical and organic chemistry was almost equally represented. Most theoretical questions were directly from NCERT, while physical chemistry had less numerical questions, but more statements-based.
Mathematics
Mathematics with well distributed questions in various subjects was barely difficult. The cones were important weightage in the classes, while matriasis, 3D geometry, vectors and calculus had comparatively less questions. Some problems were long and time -taking, which made time management important, and this section was challenging for many students.
