This plane was hijacked on 22 January 1993
About 31 years ago, on January 22, 1993, Indian Airlines flight IC-810 departed from Lucknow Airport for Delhi on schedule. Hijacker surrendered after Vajpayee’s intervention

A case was filed against Satish Chandra Pandey for hijacking a plane and the court sentenced him to four years of imprisonment.
