IIT GATE 2025 exam schedule has been released at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The detailed timetable is given here.
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 exam schedule. Candidates who have applied for the exam can check the detailed timetable of IIT GATE 2025 on the official website of gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
As per the schedule, the exam will start from February 1 to February 16, 2024. The examination on all days will be conducted in two sessions – forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and afternoon session. The session will be held from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Candidates must also note here that 30 test papers will be completely objective type and the test papers will be in English.

Meanwhile, IIT Roorkee has also extended the application correction window till November 20, 2024.
IIT GATE 2025: Here’s how to improve
To make corrections in the applications, candidates can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on the link that reads, “Application Correction Link for GATE 2025 now active.
- Check the fee charges for amendments, and click on the given link to log in in the new window.
- Enter your credentials to login and submit.
- Make amendments as required and pay the upcoming fees.
- Submit and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a printout of it with you for future reference.
