Kapil Sharma’s show featured Narayan and Sudha Murthy, who shared a light-hearted moment, including Sudha making fun of her husband.
This week in The Great Indian Kapil Show, host Kapil Sharma will welcome not a film team but two famous Indian entrepreneurs. Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and his writer wife Sudha Murthy will be part of the show. A new promo of the show gives a hint of the fun the couple and the team of the show have.
New guests came to the show
The teaser, which also includes clips of another group of guests – Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal and his wife Gracia (Jia) – begins with Kapil welcoming his guests. Sunil Grover jokes about his love for ‘software’ as ‘hardware’ always gives him ‘rashes’. Sudha Murthy hugged herself at his joke.
Kapil asks Narayan Murthy what was his reaction when he saw Sudha for the first time. When a loud noise comes from below the stage. A shocked Kapil asks what that was, when Sudha jokes, ‘That was exactly her reaction.’
But Mr. Murthy turned a bit romantic and said, “When she came to our house, it felt like a breath of fresh air.” Sudha interrupted the banter and joked, “Jawan da na (he used to be a young man then).” Everyone was surprised by his reaction.
The fans of the show were surprised to see the new guests. “I live in strange times. Narayan Murthy in Kapil Sharma Show! Strange times indeed,” one person wrote on Reddit. Another wrote, “Sudha Murthy’s humor is very good.”
