Actress Adaa Sharma a few months ago shifted to late Sushant Singh Rajput’s Mumbai home, in which he was found dead a few years ago. According to India Today, she faced criticism for the move, with a section of people accusing her of using Sushant’s name for publicity. Now while talking to the portal, Ada has clarified her stand. Ada is facing criticism after shifting to late Sushant’s house
Ada said, “As an actor, or even as a person, you can’t react to everything that is said. We all have to do a lot in life. Also, it is a free country and everyone has the right to their opinion. If they feel about something, they should do it… and continue to do so.”
Ada talked about Sushant’s house
She added, “I’m not here to tell anyone ‘I’m a good person’ or give them reasons for their actions. I did what I had to do, and I know myself. And like I don’t I wouldn’t want anyone to change for me, I wouldn’t change myself either, I’ve really settled into the house, and I love this place.”
When Ada told why she bought this house
Earlier this year, Ada had told Bombay Times about shifting to Sushant’s Bandra house. “I moved into the flat (Mont Blanc Apartment, Bandra) four months ago…I have lived in the same house in Pali Hill (Bandra) all my life and this is the first time I have moved out of there. I am very sensitive to vibes and this place gives me positive vibes. Our houses in Kerala and Mumbai are surrounded by trees and we used to feed birds and squirrels. So, I wanted a house with views and enough space to feed the birds.”

In August 2023, reports claimed that Ada was buying a flat in Mont Blanc Apartment. Later, this news was confirmed by Ada’s team in a report by Telechakkar. Reportedly, Sushant had rented the apartment in December 2019 4.5 lakh per month. A duplex, it is spread over 3,600 sq ft and has a spacious hall on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the upper floor. Sushant was found dead in his home on June 14, 2020.
