The trailer features Kajol as a fiery police officer who is out to solve a case, while Kriti enters uncharted territory with her debut in the suspense thriller genre. Adding to the intrigue, Kriti portrays dual characters – the mysterious Saumya Sood and the captivating Shelly – setting the stage for a mind game.
This tangled tale unfolds in the fictional hill town of Devipur, where police inspector Vidya Jyoti (Kajol) finds herself entangled in a series of disturbing incidents involving Saumya (Kriti Sanon) and her husband, Dhruv Sood (Shaheer Sheikh). It is found to be. Things take a dangerous turn when Soumya’s twin sister Shaili arrives at the hill station.
The trailer starts with Kajol interrogating Shaheer Sheikh’s character Dhruv Sood. It goes on to weave a story of deception and innocence. The story focuses on Soumya and Dhruv’s intense romance, which is interrupted by the arrival of Soumya’s twin sister, who tries to seduce Dhruv.

Talking about her excitement, Kriti said in a statement, “Do Patti is incredibly special for me, not just because it is my first film as a producer, but also because it gave me a new perspective on screen. This film has been like my baby; Kanika and I have nurtured this from the beginning, especially in our capacity as producers and it is truly gratifying to see this journey with Netflix. Do Patti also has a touching message woven into it, which is why I decided to make this film as my debut and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”

The film, which will be released on Netflix, is being described as a “captivating mystery thriller”. Based on the hills of North India, this film has been directed by Shashank Chaturvedi, popularly known as BOB.
This digital project marks Kriti’s entry into film production with Katha Pictures. She is producing the film with writer Kanika Dhillon’s newly launched banner Blue Butterfly Films. This is Kriti’s second collaboration with Kajol after Rohit Shetty’s 2015 film Dilwale, which failed at the box office.
