Candidates can raise objections against the provisional SSC CGL answer key on the official website – ssc.gov.in.
SSC CGL 2024 Provisional Answer Key is now available on the official website – ssc.gov.in.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the deadline to raise objections on the provisional answer keys of SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 Tier 1. Applicants can now submit their challenges through the official website ssc.gov.in. Till 8th October. This extension comes in response to the high volume of traffic on the server.
The official notification reads, “However, it has been observed that due to heavy load on the servers, the response time of the system becomes slightly longer. Accordingly, it has been decided to extend the last date for going live of the facility from 06.10.2024 (06:00 PM) to 08.10.2024 (06:00 PM). All other terms and conditions mentioned in the notice dated 03.10.2024 will remain the same.
Earlier, the last date to raise objections against the provisional answer key was October 6.
How to raise objections against SSC CGL Answer Key 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, click on the Login tab and key in your credentials.
Step 3: Next, go to My Application tab and click on Answer Key Challenge.
Step 4: Raise your challenge by selecting question ID and uploading supporting documents.
Step 5: Make Payment
Step 6: Review your challenge and click Submit.
The provisional answer key allows candidates to review their answers and raise concerns before the final result is declared. Candidates will have to submit their challenges by paying a fee of Rs 100 per question.
This year, SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held from 9th to 26th September. The question paper was divided into four sections, each carrying 25 questions of 50 marks. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded two marks, while 0.50 marks will be deducted for any wrong attempt.
The final result of SSC CGL Tier 1 will be prepared by the experts after examining the objections raised by the candidates against the provisional answer key. Shortlisted applicants will be eligible to appear for SSC CGL Tier 2 exam in December 2024.
