A seven-year-old boy was allegedly beaten, stripped and given electric shocks by his teacher at a private school in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh because he forgot to bring his school bag.

On the day of the incident, the child’s father was out and his mother was ill, so his grandfather took him to school. The identity of the teacher has not yet been revealed.
The child’s family, residents of Bharat Nagla village in Lodha police station area, further alleged that the UKG student at the private school was “brutally” beaten up by the teacher. The Times of India Report.
Meanwhile, the school principal denied the allegations, saying, “The complaints about the child being given an electric shock are false. We are ready to show the CCTV footage. The allegations are baseless.”
Rajveer Singh Parmar, the officer in charge of Lodha police station, said he and his team reached the school to begin the investigation. “We have begun questioning the school staff and administrators,” he said.
“A case will be registered on the basis of a written complaint,” Parmar said.
