New Delhi: Bollywood star Taapsee Pannu and writer-producer Kanika Dhillon are reuniting for a new feature film titled “Gandhari”, streaming service Netflix announced on Tuesday.
Earlier, the two had collaborated on “Haseen Dillruba” and its sequel “Phir Aayi Haseen”, which released on the streamer’s platform on August 9.
“Gandhari” is described as an action-thriller film that will depict “a different kind of love – the deep bond between a mother and child”, a press release said.

Expressing confidence in her partnership with Dhillon to create “magic” on screen, Pannu said she is excited to play a serious role in “Gandhari”.
“I had done an action film nine years ago and I was waiting for a script that would take me back to action and challenge me in a new way. Dhillon, who will produce the film through her banner Kaththa Pictures, said the new film will deeply depict the essence of a mother’s unwavering love and cruelty.
