After many ups and downs, the third chapter of Bigg Boss OTT ended in a grand manner and Sana Maqbool became the winner. Anil Kapoor announced the name of the winner in the grand finale on Friday, in which a lot of drama, action and suspense was seen. The competition to grab the trophy was between Sana Maqbool and Naezy. Apart from the coveted trophy, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 also won The prize money is Rs 25 lakh.
Talking about Sana’s journey in the Bigg Boss house, it was full of ups and downs. There were times when Ranvir Shorey called her ‘Naagin and Khalnayika’ and there were times when host Anil Kapoor questioned her on almost every Weekend Ka Vaar. However, Sana stood by her opinions in Bigg Boss OTT 3. During Sana’s journey, Anil questioned Sana’s enthusiasm to win and called it an obsession. She was also questioned about her friendship with Vishal, Naezy and Lavkesh.
The finale episode began with the five finalists of the show: Ranvir Shorey, Sana Maqbool, Sai Ketan Rao, Naezy and Kritika Malik. However, Ranvir, Sai and Kritika failed to reach the end of the race and were eliminated midway. Kritika was the first finalist to be eliminated.
About the Grand Finale
The final part of the show came with music, dance, nostalgia and lots of emotions. It started with Anil Kapoor dancing to the song Naach Punjaban with all the ex-contestants joining him on stage. The season finale aired on Jio Cinema on August 2 at 9 pm.
One special thing about the grand finale was that Ranveer Shorey arrived in a new look without a beard. When Anil Kapoor asked him about his new look, he said that he had promised that if he ever reaches the finals, he will not grow a beard.
The finale of Bigg Boss OTT 3 also saw two surprise guests who were a part of the elimination process. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, who are gearing up for the release of their horror-comedy Stree 2, brought in some fun stuff in the final episode.
Anil also talked about hosting the show, saying, “Bigg Boss OTT 3 has been an incredible journey. It has brought out the child and the father in me. I have laughed, I have been tough, and I have experienced a rollercoaster of emotions.”

The reality show, which saw celebrity contestants locked inside a house for over a month, began on June 21 at 9 pm. Other contestants included Poulomi Polo Das, Sana Sultan, Vishal Pandey, Chandrika Gera Dixit, Neeraj Goyat and Armaan Malik and his two wives – Payal and Kritika. Adnan Sheikh joined as a wild card entry a few weeks later.
Anil Kapoor debuted as a reality show host in the third season of the show. Salman Khan was busy with his other professional commitments, so he replaced him. Before him, Karan Johar hosted the first season of the show.
