UPSC Civil Services Main 2024: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) will close the filling of Detailed Application Form (DAF) 1 for the UPSC Civil Services Main exam today at 6 pm. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam and qualify for the UPSC Civil Services Main exam 2024 must fill the DAF on the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
As per an official notice issued by Union Public Service CommissionThe notice said that, all the candidates are required to log in through ‘One Time Registration (OTR)’ on the Commission’s website to fill their detailed application form. Candidates who fail to submit the completely filled DAF by 6 PM will be denied candidature.
The official notice states, “After login through OTR, they have to complete the requisite details/entries in the DAF-I, upload copies of all relevant documents and finally submit the same by 6 PM on 12.07.2024. Candidates who fail to submit the final DAF-I complete in all its respects by 6 PM on 12.07.2024, their candidature will be cancelled and they will not be allowed to appear in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024.”
The procedure to fill the DAF I form is as follows:
Visit the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
Click on the active OTR link available on the home page.
Candidates will have to login to their account.
After logging in, fill the DAF form and click on submit.
Download the confirmation page for future use.
The civil services main exam 2024 will be held on September 20, 2024. Only candidates who qualify the preliminary exam can appear for the UPSC Civil Services 2024 main exam. The exam consists of a written exam and interview/personality test.
