Human Brain Robot: The day is not far when you will hear that humans have made a robot that looks exactly like a human. All the robots made till now are made of different metals and different softwares are put in them. They work according to these softwares. Such robots cannot match humans. But this news will force you to think that very soon real human robots can be made. The news is that Chinese scientists have made a robot that works with a small human brain. This brain will develop and work like a human brain. If this attempt of the scientists is completely successful then human life will change completely.
Scientists have created a brain in the lab using a mass of cells called organoids, which has been installed in a robot. It also has a computer chip, which sends signals to the nervous system of the brain. This robot works according to these signals. It has been called ‘brain on a chip’. The problem in completing this is that this brain is not getting the supply of nutrients (fiber, minerals). If this starts happening, the whole world will change. However, this change will be positive.
intelligence like humans
This robot can walk, grab things and avoid obstacles using sensors and AI. Scientists say that this brain shows intelligence like humans and can move its limbs on its own. Its advantage is that in the future, damage to the human brain can be repaired. Not only this, new methods of treatment of other neurological diseases can also be created.

A similar system has been used in Elon Musk’s Neuralink chip, which has been implanted in the brain of a human (patient). He can control the computer with his mind. Neuralink’s device has a custom chip, which processes the signals and sends them to the computer via Bluetooth.
Use of human embryonic development cells
However, the Chinese researchers have not revealed a very important topic – how they will transfer signals to the organoids. A lot of information has been given, but no light has been shed on this topic.
Ming Dong, the lead author of this study, said that to create this ‘living machine’, scientists have used pluripotent stem cells. These cells are found in early embryonic development. These stem cells were grown to create organoids, which differentiated into various types of cells found in the brain, including tissues.

Organoids are very small and self-organizing three-dimensional tissues made from stem cells. Scientists grew these stem cells for about a month until they showed neuron-like characteristics.
problem of nutrient supply
The Chinese scientists also did not explain how they trained the organoids to tell the robot when to do what. The team said the technology still faces problems such as “developmental immaturity and lack of supply of nutrients”, which usually include antioxidants, fiber and minerals. When the organoids were transplanted into the brain, a functional connection was established that is similar to what happens when treated with low-intensity ultrasound. Low-intensity ultrasound stimulation regenerates human tissue to form neurons. These neurons send messages from the brain to tell the robot to move.
Scientists said that this robot does not have eyes and it only responds through electrical and sensor signals sent by neurons. The team clarified that the pink part seen on the shoulders of the robot is only for decoration, which shows what the brain would look like. These are not real tissues, which are still being used in the prototype.
According to the South China Morning Post, the study says, ‘Brain organoid transplants are considered a potential strategy to restore brain function, attempting to replace lost neurons and reconstruct neural circuits.’ However, this research is still in its early stages, and it is unclear whether organoids could ever be used to repair or regenerate brain tissue in the future.
