As soon as he reached Bangkok, Jagmeet’s associates arranged a three-month tourist visa for him. After staying in Bangkok for a few days, Abhi was sent to Malaysia through illegal route by putting a fake arrival immigration stamp on his passport.

Abhi had been in Malaysia for a long time now. Meanwhile, an officer of the Malaysian security agency noticed Abhi. After which, he was arrested by the local police for overstay. After this, he was deported to Delhi airport. As soon as he reached Delhi airport, Abhi was taken into custody by the Immigration Bureau and handed over to the police.

Meanwhile, after Jagmeet Singh Gill’s name came up during interrogation of Abhi, his search was started. A team has been formed under the leadership of IGI Airport SHO Inspector Vijendra Rana to arrest Jagmati Singh, which also included Sub Inspector Manoj and Constable Pankaj. 58-year-old Varinder Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab was arrested in this case. According to DCP Usha Rangrani, after continuous efforts for about three months, he has been arrested from Sri Muktar Sahib in Punjab. During interrogation, Jagmeet Singh told that he went to Malaysia in 2015 with the help of an agent. There he came in contact with such agents who used to cheat people and send them abroad. Due to greed for money, he also joined them and started cheating people in the name of sending them abroad and collecting lakhs of rupees from them.
