UGC NET exam will be conducted between August 21 to September 4, 2024

The National Testing Agency on Friday announced new dates for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) 2024 June session exam. According to the official statement released by the NTA, the UGC NET exam will be conducted from August 21 to September 4, 2024.

Additionally, the NTA informed that the NCET 2024 exam will be held on July 10, while the Joint CSIR UGC NET will be held from July 25 to 27.

All three exams will be computer-based. Earlier, the UGC NET June 2024 cycle exam was conducted in pen and paper (offline) mode, however, now it will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

Meanwhile, the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 will be held on July 6, 2024 as per the pre-scheduled schedule.

It is worth mentioning that the June shift exam was earlier held on June 18 in which more than 9 lakh candidates had appeared. However, the day after the exam was over, the education ministry cancelled the exam citing concerns of “integrity” being compromised due to the alleged paper leak.
