Brakes applied on the plane before takeoff, security officer arrested 3 passengers

IGI Airport: The boarding of Indigo Airlines flight 6E-1707 going to Hong Kong from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport was completed. The gates of the plane were about to close when suddenly the movement on the aerobridge side increased rapidly. Then some airline and security staff entered the plane with quick steps along with the officials of the Immigration Bureau. Why were the three passengers detained?
According to a senior official associated with airport security, the detained passengers have been identified as Jignesh Ravichandran, Mohan Prasad Senthil and Tarumurthy Avinasiappan, residents of Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. All three passengers had arrived at IGI Airport to go to Hong Kong by Indigo Airlines flight 6E-1707. The Schengen visa on the passports of these three was found to be fake, due to which all three were detained from the plane.

How did the three passengers reach the flight?
A senior airport security official said that during immigration check, all three passengers had shown pre-arrival registration document for going to Hong Kong, which is a kind of on arrival visa. On the basis of this pre-arrival registration, immigration check of all three was approved, after which all three completed the security check and went for boarding the plane. After leaving the immigration area, the real intentions of these three were revealed.

How were the real intentions revealed?
During the immigration check, the officials scanned the other visas on the passports of these three. After doubts arose on the Schengen visa of one of the passengers, he was sent for verification. During verification, it was found that this Schengen visa was fake, after which the Schengen visas of the other two passengers were verified, in which both these visas were also found to be fake. Due to this revelation, all the three passengers were taken into custody in time.

Why Schengen Visa for Hong Kong?
The question that arises here is that when these passengers had to go to Hong Kong and all three passengers had pre-arrival registration of that place, then why did all three paste fake Schengen visas on their passports? Actually, investigation revealed that all three were using Hong Kong’s pre-arrival registration to get out of the airport safely. After reaching Hong Kong, all three had to leave for Poland. Now what action will be taken against them?
The Immigration Bureau has handed over the three passengers to the IGI Airport Police. On the basis of the complaint of the Immigration Bureau, the IGI Airport Police Station has registered a case against the three passengers under Section 420/468/471 of the IPC and 12 Passport Act and arrested them.
