NEET UG 2024 Result: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the respective authorities of each state will oversee the remaining 85 per cent admissions.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the medical entrance exam, NEET UG 2024 today i.e. on June 4. A senior NTA official said, “The results are live, candidates can check through the website. Details of top scorers and qualifying candidates will be available soon.” The results can be accessed directly at exam.nta.ac.in.
A total of 67 students have secured rank 1 this year. 24,06,079 students had registered for NEET 2024, out of which 23,33,297 appeared and 13,16,268 qualified.

NEET UG 2024 Result Released: What Next?
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for 15 per cent of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the respective authorities of each state will oversee the remaining 85 per cent admissions. Students who meet the eligibility criteria and score the minimum NEET UG 2024 cut-off can check the seat matrix and list of participating medical colleges from the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
NTA may soon announce the counselling schedule for this year. Last year, the first round of counselling for NEET UG began on July 20.

Last year, the NEET 2023 cut-off marks for general category students were increased. The NEET cut-off for 2023 increased from 715-117 in NEET UG 2022 to 720-137. The cut-off for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) increased from 116-93 in 2022 to 136-107 in 2023. The NEET MBBS/BDS cut-off 2023 for general category candidates was in the 50s, while for OBC, SC and ST, it was in the 40s.
