Sharing pictures of herself in the yellow gown on a reel, Deepika wrote, “Fresh off the rack! Who’s getting their hands on this!? As always, proceeds support the @tlllfoundation initiative. Visit www.thelivelovelaughfoundation.org/find-help/helplines for a list of verified helpline resources.” The gown was put up for sale just 72 hours after her appearance as part of the ‘Fresh Off the Rack’ initiative for charity.
She shared the reel on Instagram Stories, in which she shared a link to her ‘closet’, which shows the price of the dress. Within minutes, the designer empire dress, described as an ’empire cut cotton midi with a dramatic flare’, was sold out. ₹ 34,000. A few minutes later, she shared a photo with the caption ‘Sold Out’, tagging the recipient of the gown. Her team claims that the gown was sold out within 20 minutes. Recently, Deepika shared a reel from the event in a yellow dress, writing that she was in ‘my sunshine state’.
Ranveer Singh shuts the mouths of trolls
Not just fans, even Ranveer Singh was so impressed with how beautiful Deepika looked in the dress that he silenced the trolls who commented on her recent appearance. He shared pictures of her on his Instagram Stories on the day of the event. “My sunshine! (yellow heart emoticon)” Ranveer cheered on Deepika’s first picture where she was wearing a yellow dress and was all smiles. In Deepika’s next picture, Ranveer captioned, “Uff! Kya karun main? Mar jaoon? (What should I do? Should I die?)” In the last picture, Ranveer wrote, Buri nazar wale, tera muh kaala (May you have evil eyes, may your face turn black)!”
