Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is inviting applications from researchers and scholars for Anusandhan 2.0, a massive multi-disciplinary research and innovation fair to be held on June 18 and 19, 2024.
According to a press release from IIT Mandi, this two-day event will convene scholars, researchers and industry experts from all IITs to present and discuss groundbreaking ideas and innovations.
Researchers and scholars are invited to participate in paper presentations, poster proposals and interactive sessions under the theme ‘Interdisciplinary Research: Goals for a Sustainable Future’. The last date for abstract submission is June 5, 2024, and the final registration deadline is June 7, 2024. Authors of accepted papers will have to submit their full-length camera-ready versions by June 15, 2024, the institute informed.

According to the press release, the event will cover a wide range of areas including:
Engineering Technology
basic science
medical science
Management and Humanities and Social Sciences
“Anusandhan 2.0, an annual research fair, will be an exciting platform to awaken the technological creativity of the youth of the country. In keeping with the overarching theme of the fair, it will foster inter-disciplinary collaboration, bring new ideas and serve as a testament to our ability to address complex societal challenges by Indian research scholars,” said the student body at IIT Mandi. Dean Dr. Hitesh Shrimali said. ,
Apart from the keynote speakers, industry experts and several alumni of IIT Mandi will conduct talks and discussion sessions during the two-day event.
The institute said Research 2.0 aims to promote Himalayan engagement through research initiatives and hill-based events, and attract researchers from diverse fields such as science, humanities and social sciences, engineering and management.
