CBSE Class 12 board exam results were declared on May 13.
Ranchi topper Shweta Kumari said that when consistency, hard work, discipline, concentration and commitment come together, success is certain.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already declared the results of the much-awaited Class 12th board exam on May 13. This year, around 17,00,041 students appeared for the exam, and more than 24,000 students scored more than 95 percentile. 100% in board exam. The overall passing percentage this year was recorded at 87.98 percent. Meanwhile, Shweta Kumari, resident of Ranchi, Jharkhand, has become the district topper in Arts stream by scoring 98.4 percent marks in the board examination. After the declaration of Class 12 results, Shweta Kumari spoke to Local 18 and said that the results are no less than a surprise for her. She worked hard continuously, but she never thought that she would top the district. He dedicated his success to his parents and teachers who helped him in every possible way.
He further said that he studied continuously for four to five hours every day for two years, not missing a single day. His commitment towards his goal was very clear. She wants to join civil services in future, as she wants to serve the country by becoming an IAS officer. This was the only reason why he chose arts, as he believed that it would make it easier to prepare for civil services.
Shweta said, “My parents never put any pressure on me. Throughout the entire preparation process, I left no room for uncertainty. Rather, whatever subject I read, I studied every concept and angle of it in depth. I believe it is better to read a little but thoroughly rather than read too much.”
Apart from this, Shweta said that there is no alternative to hard work. A person has to work hard and study carefully for at least 4 to 5 hours every day. He said, “I studied regularly throughout the year, so during the exam time I did not study for 15-16 hours. Even during exams, I used to study only for four to five hours.”
Sharing her success mantra, Shweta said, “Consistency, hard work, discipline, concentration and commitment, when these 5 things are combined, success is certain.”
Notably, girls outperformed boys by more than 6.40 per cent, with nearly 91 per cent of girls passing the board exams. The passing percentage of girls has been recorded at 91.52 percent, while the overall passing percentage of boys was 85.12 percent. Moreover, transgender people have recorded a pass percentage of 50 per cent this year.
