Apart from this, do not spray any kind of pesticide on it and do not allow snakes and rats to come on it. Earthworms will convert cow dung into vermi compost in about two months. When the compost is ready, filter it and separate the earthworms from it.

But the special thing is that earthworms grow very fast and they double in number in about three months. Therefore, if you buy earthworms once and expand your business further, you will not need to buy earthworms. Apart from earthworms, you will also have to buy cow dung, plastic seat and paddy straw. Since these things are not very expensive, you will not have to spend much on them.
