New Delhi. Hero Lectro, a major company in the electric bicycle segment, has recently launched two new e-cycles in the Indian market – H4 and H7+. These latest models have been designed keeping in mind the specific needs of Indian customers, they will offer a combination of style and function. The introductory price of H4 is Rs 32,499 and it is offered in Mystic Purple and Distance Red color options. Whereas, the price of H7+ has been kept slightly higher i.e. Rs 33,499. It has been launched in Lava Red and Storm Yellow Gray color options.
Both models have been engineered to define the concept of short distance travel. It has a detachable battery with 7.8Ah capacity. This will give a range of about 40 kilometers in a single charge. It will take 4.5 hours to fully charge it.

Key ignition system is integrated here for safety. This will provide an additional layer of security to the users. The H4 model is an affordable option for residents of small towns. This saves up to Rs 40,000 annually on travel expenses. It has a versatile unisex frame, so it’s suitable for riders of all ages.
The H7+, on the other hand, is designed for urban commuters, capable of reducing approximately 800 kg of CO2 emissions every year compared to conventional vehicles and becoming a pollution-free option. Additionally, both the electric bicycles are equipped with a 250W BLDC electric motor with a top speed of 25 km/h. These are IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.
For comfort and safety, these include LED display, cushioned seat, chain guard, disc brakes and anti-skid pedals with reflectors. Specifically, the H7+ features front suspension for a smooth ride on varying terrains, supported by MTB tires for better grip.
