Mumbai Actor-filmmaker Rishabh Shetty has a long association with art and entertainment. A photo of the star has surfaced on social media, in which she can be seen in a traditional dress. This photo is of his sixth class, when he danced Yakshagana.
Yakshagana is a traditional folk dance which is quite popular in the coastal Karnataka districts. The actor also shared that his journey as an artiste started when he was in sixth class.
Yakshagana was performed in class 6th
He said, “I had presented Yakshagana in sixth class.” The star shared that since then he had dreamed of bringing the folklore of his region to the world on the big screen. Rishabh had used this dance form in the blockbuster ‘Kantara: The Legend’.
This dance was used in the track ‘Varaha Roopam’ of the film. The actor also performed it live during the Amazon Prime Video event, where the prequel ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ was announced. Rishabh is currently busy with the prequel of ‘Kantara’.
